Two students were killed and three others wounded during a shooting Thursday morning at Saugus High School in Santa Clarita, California. The shooting took place as students headed to their first period classes. Authorities said the suspect, a 16-year-old male student, pulled a .45-caliber handgun out of his backpack and began firing at people around him before shooting himself in the head. He has been hospitalized and is in grave condition. Authorities identified the deceased students as a 16-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy.
