1. Madonna's London show got shut down for going past curfew

There was even more royalty than usual in London this week, as Queen of Pop Madonna headlined a show at the Palladium Theater. But when the concert's runtime inched past the theater's strict 11 p.m. curfew, the staff turned down the sound and the lights and began lowering the curtain even as the singer insisted on trying to finish her performance. The interruption infuriated Madonna, who took to Instagram to complain that "artists are here to disturb the peace" — so, mission accomplished, Madge!

2. The Friends cast would make a crazy amount of money for a one-hour reunion special

For months, rumors have persisted that Warner Media plans to launch its upcoming streaming service HBO Max with a buzzy exclusive: An unscripted one-hour reunion special featuring all the Friends stars reminiscing about their time on the series. And if the Friends reunion actually does happen, it sounds like it'd be quite a payday. According to one source, each cast member could receive as much as $4 million for spending one hour of their lives appearing in the Friends reunion — though another source insists it's closer to a paltry $2.5 million apiece, so don't get too jealous.

3. Peter Sarsgaard promises The Batman is going to be 'raw'

Worried the next Batman reboot — starring Robert Pattinson and, well, a lot of other people — is starting to sound a little overcooked? Never fear: Peter Sarsgaard, who has a supporting role in The Batman, swears the movie will be more "raw" than your typical Batman flick. "It is not sanitized," Sarsgaard added — so we suppose it's technically possible he got confused and started talking about the raw chicken he plans to grill this weekend.

4. Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer had dinner at the same restaurant

They say Hollywood is a small town — which means, unfortunately, that you have a better-than-usual chance of running into your exes. Just a few weeks after Aniston ignited #TeamBraniston fans' hopes for a reunion when she had a friendly chat with Brad Pitt after the SAG Awards, she happened to dine at the same restaurant as another high-profile ex: John Mayer. The "rendezvous" was apparently just a coincidence, and Aniston and Mayer left separately — so if you're one of the six people on the planet who is still #TeamJohnnifer, you can keep your old T-shirt in storage for now.

5. Lindsay Lohan may or may not have debuted a new boyfriend on Instagram

We all know that making things "Instagram official" is a very, very serious step in 2020 — which might be why Lindsay Lohan appeared to introduce a new boyfriend on her account before quickly walking it back. On Thursday, Lohan posted a photo captioned "lovely night with sister and my boyfriend bader" — which gossip-hounds quickly deduced was probably a man she follows named Bader Shammas, who has a private Instagram account. Shortly after posting, Lohan deleted the photo's caption and replaced it with a smiley-face emoji — which, like the Mona Lisa, you'll need to study and interpret the meaning of for yourself.
