An Arizona lawmaker wants to tax pornography and use the proceeds to help build President Trump’s border wall. The bill from GOP state Rep. Gail Griffin would require tech companies to install porn-blocking software on internet-connected devices, which users could disable by paying a $20 fee to be used for wall construction.
An Italian restaurant in Manhattan has allegedly banned women from sitting alone at the bar. Clementine Crawford, an executive, says staff at Nello—famed for its $275 white-truffle pasta—insisted she had to get up from her bar seat on a recent visit. When she pointed out men sitting alone at the bar, she was told the restaurant was enforcing a “crackdown on hookers,” and that the owner “could run his business as he pleased.” Nello declined to comment.
